Wynand Frederik Boshoff

The manufacturing company was founded by mr Wynand Boshoff, he also designed every machine displayed. The original company was called Syncrom BFS (binding and finishing systems).

The company was founded in 1999.

The directorship changed 4 years ago and Powerbind BFS was established, still with mr Boshoff at the helm . The “SAP” (Specialised adhesive Process) machine is one of this company’s highlights. This machine empowers printers all over the world, with the massive amount of rolling power available (specifically redundant Litho machines) as well as new gen digital printers, printers can personalise sticky notes. For the first time ever sticky notes can be produced inhouse.

Situated in the lovely coastal area of George, Southern Cape, this company find its’ creativeness in the tranquill environment of a not so busy metropole.
Powerbind is unique in the sense that they are the only South African manufacturers of in the entire world of a medium sized sheetfed sticky note process.

Powerbind boasts a 100% local content. Spares naturally originates from Germany, Japan and elsewhere, but are sold by a variety of South African suppliers such as ACDC and Electromechanika, both South African based companies.

Powerbind has an inhouse demo facility/showroom built into the factory, visitors can thus view the operations when flying in for live demos. Prospective buyers visiting the factory usually take a short time out visiting the beautiful Garden Route area whilst attending the demo/training coarse.
