is it one spesific colour? I know that happens when running 032 on my press. if that is the case try using a little tack reducer. I pefer the varn paste reducer. Have you made any changes latly ? ie differant ink, fountain soloution?
If you haven't figured it out yet, I run a 3500 and run the colour on tower 2 with roller lube on tower one. If it is 2 sided with powder then I put the roller lube on tower 1 leave the lock out pins in and the water metering roller off and without a plate ( like in washup mode ) back off the...
Looks good to me. what size ( image and sheet ) is the 8802? I run a 9810 with a t51 and wouldn't get one half of that page to register. I think the cylinders are different sizes.
I agree with 8 colorguy. Did he offer you the discount or did you ask for one , if he offered one he knows he's wrong and is trying to cut his losses. If you want pice of mind tell him your customer refused them. That would never get past our quality control.
I run about 800 sheets of 8.75 X 11.5 12 up bussiness cards for about 10m bc's , I run them in 100's it takes some time but it works. How often would you be doing 1000 sheets?
It all depends on your volume. To start you may want to get a table top. They are much cheaper but the disadvantage is that you can only do 50 to 100 sheets at a time because the ink will start to dry.
I run a century 3500 2 c , process is do able but not easy on 11 X 17 on any thing under 70lb stock. My concern would be available of parts as they are not manufactured any more. we have had some success form local sources. Just don't over pay for it.
