If RAM oil is really bad I've had light paper stick and jam before. Airknife a little tighter works better for thin stock. But generally it doesn't move or cause problems.

Does it happen on all stocks? Lighter paper is more easily affected by static/etc. Reducing static will prevent dog-earring. If on heavy stocks too, then static isn't the problem. Probably the stacker belts or something broken. Usually taking the time to watch and inspect the machine closely...

The TE kick happens to me quite a bit. But it should pick it up and straighten out in time for stacking. Late to VGT entrance or exit sensor? Had the opposite happen before. Was adding Magenta instead of removing it. Technician fixed it, he did a bunch of things. Center ETAC, TC calibration, Developer change. Maybe other things too, I think he played with hot gas bypass settings too. Idk what fixed it, but it has not returned since.

Speaking from an operator perspective I would say most companies like to hire operators as cheaply as possible. The igen4's and up are big improvements over the igen3's which require more downtime for maintenance. But still, there is a major difference between a good operator and some guy off...

Cheap cheap. I never understood why they're so willing to pay a million dollars for a machine, but the operators nothing. Why hire experienced operators or pay for training when we can just put pressure on someone with no experience and stress them out until they either learn it or quit? Oh...
