The pressure gauge might be located in different spots from model to model, maybe ask the guys from Heidelberg just to double check thats its working correctly.

We changed our pressure gauge, the one you insert into the coupling. Costly but it solved the problem. They are super sensitive and dont like to be fiddled with. One of our guys tried to give it a good clean and thats when it was damaged.

This could possibly be your side lay profile. Its the channel or key way that the side lay follows. If this profile is worn the timing goes slightly out resulting in the rotary vavles working in the wrong position. You may have to replace this. Its located directly under you side lay, need to...

I agree with trying to swop the roller with the old one, if the problem is still there, then you know its not the roller. Also check the side bracket for signs of wear, you set it in one position, but after, because of worn parts, it now adjusts silghtly to a different position.

Are you sure the thread on the side bracket or roller is not stripped, your thread could be worn and with the vibration when ideling the roller could jump a couple threads. Aslo double check for play on the roller itself? Turn the roller around and see what happens...

Yeah, have a look at that spring adjustment as suggested, it could restrict it from dropping all the way.

Stick with what you have, mechanical is the way to go, you have full control over the setting. Its going to cost you to buy and then it will cost you to repair later......not wise

Please check the vibrator roller. Check the roller diameter and bearings for play. We had something similar and it turned out to be an undersized vibrator, it didnt transfer the ink at a consistent rate resulting in variation on the sheet. Ok - ignore the above, I see you solved it - I didnt...
