What kind of paper are you running? I find when running large quantities of uncoated, rough(ish), stock it uses more fuser fluid than say on a coated stock like silk.

I agree with Milo. This is often caused by the 8 wire mods.

All media is storred in the same airconditioned room as the print machine. I discovered how important this is some years ago - makes a huge difference! I'll take a look at lowering the media setting. I'm used to a zap or two. I get some big ones whilst changing the dev using the vacuum cleaner...
