In older indigo series there is a paper transport board calle pcn controlling this interlocks. Try to reconect the conectors in this boar o replace it.

I mean correct blankets for the machine u are using? Are there for hpi 7xxx? I only had ghost image when using bad blankets or when having bad conductivity inside ink. Try to reload an old machine configuration.

Are you using correct blankets?

Yes I tried many Times. You can print with it. But color calibration will not success and you will have many color quality issues.

I have installed primer in my indigo 7500 thinking I might be able to print in many substrates that I couldn't print before, but my experience is that primer doesn't attach where normal ink doesn't attach so is not working. If any body has other experiences with primer ink, please let me know.
