Thanks for the support. By any chance will it effect the server software if i remove the CMOS battery?

I have a built in fiery controller. This started only few days back I have being using this Machine for two years now.

I have a xerox dc250 and everyday when i switch on the printer server time & date is changed to year 2004. no matter how many times i changed it from the server next day its changed to 2004. can any one help me to resolve this problem.
