Seems I usually have my hands full with perfecting on my 8 color. We are in the midst of testing new ink and etch/sub. and it seems printing has a few more challenges these days!

Komori eh? I'm a Heidelberg guy, but spent a few years feeding on a 4 color Komori. Worst years of my life!:eek:

I print alot of yearbooks for schools in the U.K. and around the world. Seems after 20 years in the printing industry, I have almost seen it all!!
The 8-color I run is a 2001 model, and has it's challenges to say the least. We are in the midst of pulling rollers...
So how many guys to run this 10 color press? Shure would be nice being able to have a few extra units kicking around to lay some spot colors down while doing process work. Or what type of work are you doing with it?

I know when I run covers, I ALWAYS try to match the previos printing. Period.
If I can't, someone higher up will make the call at the press.
I would just refuse the order. Send it back and have the printer rip the old gray covers off and print...

I run a 8-color speedmaster, but fed on a Komori 50" 4-color for a few years. I started drinking.
Our plant had 3 of them, and now replaced them with 4 MAN-roland 50" presses.
The Komori's printed sharp, and the dampening worked well...even while the rest of the press fell...
