Cd 74 running with vario off

Hello gentlemen hope all is well would like advise on setting water rollers on cd 74 without vario do you have to use a lighter stripe between water form and vibrator.thanks for any tips. Jack. Ps when vario is on plate cleans up normally, when I turn off I get dry up any thoughts appreciated

 

Dear Jack
Set the ink strip as follows
Dampening form to Distributor 5mm (without Vario).
7-8mm (with Vario).
Dampening form to the plate 4mm.
Intermediate roller to dampening form roller 2.5mm

 

Please note that intermediate roller to dampanding form roller is 3 mm

 

To adjust the dampening distributir relative to the plate dampening roller the width of the contact stripe when operated with vario fonction 7-8 mm or operated without vario fonction 5 mm.
To adjust the plate dampening roller relative to the plate the width of the contact stripe is 4 mm.
To adjust the intermediate roller relative to the plate dampening rolller the width of the contact stripe is 3 mm.
To adjust the metering roller relative to the plate dampening roller this adjustment must be with paper strips .

I'm running CD 74 2002 model machine,
My machine there's no intermediate roller, please can you explain how much should I set roller pressure in dampening unit without intermediate roller.
And please explain the order wise setting,I mean which roller should I set first? and then,,,?

 

The question is why you dont have intermediate roller
Normally it have this roller

 

We bought the used machine, once it comes without intermediate roller.
We running The machine with out intermediate roller.

 

If there is not the roller you need to buy it sir , it s very important

Do we need to set the pressure 7mm to 5mmEvery time when using with Vario and vise versa?
