I'm new to running press equipment. I've watched the training video on the quickmaster & I had a single week of very bad in person training. So needless to say I don't know much. I do have a lot of experience with machines in general though. But anyway, the problem I am currently having is when running my paper through the machine I get one sheet through and it stops on the impression cylinder. The sheet gets like stuck in the feet. That's as far as it gets. I don't know why and I don't think there are any adjustments I can make to fix this that I know of. Does anyone have any ideas that can help? I should also say that this machine has been neglected badly. I just spent the last week deep cleaning & greasing it mainly because I was also recently have an issue with the machine flooding with water.

What is the error message? Did you calibrate paper length first?

No error message comes up. The machine keeps reading it jams when I go to calibrate the paper size.

Are you getting early or late sheet warning on the console?
Adjust the sheet arrival knob - clockwise sheet arrives earlier,
    anti clockwise sheet-sheet arrives later.

I did when I take the sensor out it is still reading that there is a jam, when it's not touching anything.

this is going to sound like a stupid question, but which knob is that one.

There are four knobs in front of feeder, operators side, one is suction, air, pile height,
the one on the bottom left is sheet arrival.
Turn off your double sheet detector and run paper through the press (off impression),
and make sure your pile height, air, sheet arrival are set correctly.
Just to eliminate if it's a double sheet error.

Yes, you need to do a paper run at the start of every time you change the stock (thickness or length)
