    Hey all

I'm currently looking at replacing a Ricoh 7100 & the Versant 3100i is an option & I am looking for any reviews good or bad. We are a small Inplant that prints on a wide variety of stocks and will be looking at having an inline D6 finisher or Plockmatic.

    Cheers
    Bushy

You should be aware that there is currently a class action lawsuit against Xerox specifically for the defectiveness of the Versant line. They have had issues for nearly 2 years now with defective drums and/or toners, which is also causing a major backorder of supplies. You should also read this forum on PrintPlanet from users. Xerox is also struggling financially and facing a possible buyout by HP. All that to say, you might want to avoid anything from Xerox until the dust settles a bit. People give pretty positive feedback on Ricoh's current line of C7200's, not sure about the older 7100's. Konica Minolta is also worth considering.

Thanks for the reply. Xerox actually no longer exists here in Australia. It was a partnership (FujiXerox) but Fuji has separated from Xerox. Not sure what that means for the Versant Drums & but will definitely be mentioning it with the rep
