    Hello, one bad day when I got to work my Ryobi 3302 did not start the engine, and on the panel it gave the error E-4, they told me it was an inverter problem, however I have investigated more in the CS3 and CS4 sensors, and now the panel gives me E-3 error. When trying to test the sensors I can confirm that the CS3, CS4, PH1 and PH4 sensors do work, although I must adjust the sensitivity. But I cannot confirm the operation of PH2 and PH3 (blanket jam sensors 1 and 2).

    I have entered the CPU by checking the inputs and when turning the machine the only sensors it recognizes are: L4.d7 at 79º, IP-1 at 137º, IP-4 at 141º and IP-2 at 238º. Does anyone know how I can individually check the operation of the blanket jam sensors? Thank you.

    Hi sir;
    Normally when the drive motor does NOT start the 1) error code E'3 appear, you must test the Output Inverter,if there are Voltages for the Main Motor,in order to rotates.

    2) About the blanket sensors, you can Test easy the sensors. Use the camera for his celular, since the sensor are I.R the human eye Does NOT see the light, by that reason when you use the camera from his cella to the sensor, if the sensors are O.K you must see light blue !!!., otherwise if indicative the a) missing voltage for sensors, b) loose wires c) dirty sensors terminal d) Faulty sensors!!!!.

    Hello sir, thank you very much for your answer and knowledge. I will proceed to verify the sensors and the inverter in the terms that you have kindly indicated to me.
    I'll keep you informed.

    Hello mr CHOCK

    I have verified all the sensors of the machine, the jamming sensors in the two units, the cylinder on, the feeder board plate and the timing sensors CS3 and CS4. I did the visual verification as you indicated and it worked very well (point the cell phone camera as if you were going to take a photo of the sensor's face and if it works you will see a violet light). I did the functional verification by bringing a sheet of paper to the sensors (except CS3 and CS4) and confirming that the buzzer sounded and that the LEDs on the board turned on.
    For the time sensors CS3 and CS4 I confirmed the input and output ranges on the board and they work well, the visual confirmation of these sensors is by bringing a metal piece closer to them and observing that the integrated led they have lights up. Needless to say, all sensors were properly cleaned and adjusted.

    From what I can state that my E-3 and E-4 error problem is not from sensors. Apparently it is the investor.
    I will continue in my search, thank you very much for your recommendations, if you remember any more, I will appreciate if you let me know.
    Best regards and blessings.

    Please check the Inverter status, according with the schematic

    The point is very simple with the Inverter, measure the 3 phases coming with the Inverter, for the Input of the main Motor.

    If there are NOT output in the Inverter, must be faulty, Repair or Replace it.

    If there are Voltage in the Output Inverter, measure the input of main motor, in order if there are Input Voltages coming from the Inverter, if there are NOT, motor faulty, replace or replace, must be sure that some C. Breaker or Fuses are Trigger or Open.

    Hello, I did all the procedures that I indicated at the beginning of the post and I did not solve it, the only thing I need to try is a new vfd inverter. I hope I can buy it very soon and come here to tell you how it went. If you need help to make the checks, comment and I will be happy to help you at no cost. Greetings!
