ILD Initialization failed

    Good morning- I am getting this message "ILD initialization failed. Check connection between ILD and PC Cabinet. Check power connection to ILD". I have tried to check and trying to determine which set of wires goes to the pc from the ILD. Any suggestions? This is a 2010 3500.

    Go to adjustment/full ild calibration do restore and try to reinstall the firmware 2/3 times.
    If it fails I think needs to be repare.
    If you need an old I have one. Send me a private sms.

    Hi Luca, How do I get to the firmware reinstall. Do I go through a full ILD print calibration?

    No. Before you start the calibration you should see the option to do restore parameters ild and to reinstall firmware ild. If you dont have them is because your machine it's to old. Maybe you can uninstall it and send it to a friend with hpi5500.

    Gotcha Luca. So I could uninstall the ILD and have them hook up to it to reinstall the firmware? Is this common?

    Yes if you have some friend with this option you can uninstall it and send it to him to reinstall the firmware. It takes 5 min.
    But it's strange you dont have this option as I have a hpi3500 and I can do it.

    Yes, this is a October 2010 install so I would think it would not be older. I am assuming that you are doing this in technician mode?

    Hi Rolermanto - When I am in technician mode and go to adjustments -> ILD full calibration - It just wants to run through a full calibration and I don't see the option to do restore parameters ild and to reinstall firmware ild.

    If you install TeamViewer or Anydesk on your press I can login and check the firmware.

    Solved by purchasing a new ILD. Thanks everyone for your help!
