Heidelberg PM 74 C11 Code

Hi all,

So today in the morning we were printing and all of the sudden our Printmaster 74 stopped working and this code (C11) appeared.

I couldn’t find anything on the manual about it and I’m wondering if anyone knows what it means or if you have had this problem before and how you managed to fix it.

I’m attaching a picture for your reference.

I couldn’t find anything on the manual about it and I’m wondering if anyone knows what it means or if you have had this problem before and how you managed to fix it.

Feeder belt doesn't work

Hi all, in the morning our Printmaster 52-4 stopped working and this green feeder belt.

Hi sir:
Normally, when this happen,must be :a) dust b) Lube you must :

1) clean very well from dust of paper, under of feeder table

2) Shaft bearing or bushing (can be worn) has play

3) Support reel of Belt,made LUBE in the bearing of shaft where the belt is attached.

4) See if the Belt is time too of replace it.

5) Probably if you machine detected C11 error, is indicative Dyn test, found error in electronic board, control box. See which one?

I checked them all 1.-4.
Error c11 appeared on the machine once and disappeared. So I find error in electronic board, control box. I don't know exactly wich electronic board.

 

Please do this:
1) Perform a visual inspection : look for loose and broken wires, improperly seated connectors, loose or broken wires
misset switch, missing jumpers. and so on.
Chech for obviously damaged component(components burned or discolore due to overheating);
Dust + dirt + tear +wear

2) Reseating Boards and components:
Edge connectors are a common souorce of problems. Power down the system and remove the PC boards. Examine the edge connector
for contamination and clean with contacts cleaner contacts. Reseat any loose components such as scoketed ICs) . Reseat the
boards and power up.

3) Power supply checks:
Check the power supply for missing voltages and voltages out of spec. A digital multimieter DMM can be necessary, as
voltage specifications are quite tight: logic supplies for example: must be within + 5% percent of 5Vdc. All the
multiple supplies and all must be checked.

4) Board swapping:
Board swapping involves the substitutiono of a known godd board for a suspect one.
