horizontal transport motor failed to start. A1, so i cant run just one feeder unit.

wont get past this. Any idears? did some reseating of some plugs back there, to no avail.

Of course, I'm off half day tomorrow, and have a weekend trip, with much to get done :/ dangit Genny, you have the worst timing!

You sure it's not the transport rollers? Last time I had that error it's because every transport roller on the feeder had an indent in them where they had been resting, producing massive drag on the motor. The yellow rollers are crap. If you have them, order black ones that don't form grooves.

this ended up being a board. DSC? dropping 36 volts from a couple ports at random. swapped with A2. works fine

Have you tried cleaning all the pins on the board with some de-oxit electronic cleaner and re testing?

yep cleaned everything I could get to. ;)

like I said, apparently, just a bad board. Which I kind of figured, when the 36v errors started to move around the different systems... vertical, horizontal, feed....
