Can anyone tell me where I can buy/oder large size parchment or aged texture paper? Likely A1 or A2 size. I ask this is because I found it is available in some online printing service like zazzle, so I guess there must be someone making it. What I am thinking is to print in only black color to make my work looks better, not to print the background textures. But all the result I found from internet were all in A4 size.
I think the zazzle example you gave is all printed because the option is offered to choose the monogram printed on the sheet. I bet it's printed front and back with the parchment texture at the same time the monogram is printed.
Thank you, I think the same they are printed, but I guess there must be someone doing the aged paper for large size printing, whatever it's hand made or manufacture product. Currently I can only find A4 size which is manufacture product.
I know I'd like to have better sources for authentic natural papers where the color and texture is in the paper itself all the way through. I'm finding my sources carrying less and less variety. I couldn't get a good parchment at a reasonable price even at 13x19 and 12x18. I resorted to searching for high resolution parchment paper stock photos. I downloaded a few dozen some of which I bought and then use photoshop to tweak. I flipped the texture to print on the second side and it came out good enough my customers are very happy. I can do it at such a lower cost and without having to keep a carton of this and a carton of that on hand it's ok. I would still like some good sources too for quality reasonably priced textured papers. I'm not holding my breath though as the direction seems to be going the opposite way. I am doing the same for my work, I guess you are working on some art printings. The printing industry is changing since UV direct printing with white ink. I wish I can get a better result on some art project by using printed background paper with UV direct printing or handmade aged paper with UV direct printing.
