Hi. Is there anyone out there who can recommend a good lasersafe litho ink/paper combination?

Our work is mostly printed on 130g gloss art paper and our client then overprints using a canon laser printer.

Our work is mainly 4 colour process and some of the labels have large black solids.

The press is a Speedmaster 74 with alcohol damping and no uv system.

Also is there any kind of test we can do onsite to guarantee that the inks are lasersafe before sending them out to our client?

    Thanks

    Colin

Find old BW A4 laserprinter and do test print. No good toners/drums/cables/connections are needed. Use printer test print button etc.
Old printer can be much hotter than new one.

Thanks Risu. We have an old b/w laser printer so I'll give it a go.

I think most sheetfed inks manufactured these days are laser safe.
