Running Envelopes

Wanting to tap into the collective wisdom of the group…..need to have the ability to run envelopes on our QMDI Classic….using a Thompson Envelope feeder to feed and a conveyor to receive….turned off the double sheeter and the sheetflow detector and it feeds envelopes fine until we go into impression. Then the press stops…what are we forgetting?? Something else we need to disconnect or disable?

Try turning off both SF18 & 19.

Run envelopes on QM DI

Hi,

i am just curious - did you resolve your problem with envelope printing and how? We have Astro AMC2000 envelope feeder which was adapted for QM DI.
Running well but still is not perfect. What is your experience?
