SM 102 Registration Problem

Hi, everyone
I have recently transfer to a SM 102 four color with a perfecter not sure the year but I think it is a 1998 model. The problem I'm facing is that printing is shadowing on the cyan and black, especially on top right corner of the job.
The service personel we have, has been checking it over a month now, and seems we not getting anyway fast. They have check the camp followers and also change some of them, they also check grippers and the perfecter. And they seems in good order.

Is there anything we are over looking?

 

The problem occure on a wide range of substrate from- 16 pt board- 0.1mm paper (0.004'') even on coated, non coated paper but it shows more on coated paper.

 

Condition of ink repelling jacket??

The problem is when you are printing 2/2 perfector or one side cmyk?

When you say that you have service personel working on the machine, are they Heidelberg techs or inhouse techs?

It's been a couple of months, is your problem fixed? Grippers, camfollower, slipping at the perfector?

Slight possibility it could be thrust bearings on cylinder. We had a similar issue. Proper shim might help. Hope it gives you some direction in solving your problem.

mostly your Problem are from Paper transport ( Gripper, Gripperpad,Gripperpad rail) check on the Transferdrum the Suction bar are working.
you have Superblue or Jacket Transfer Cylinder check your distance ( 0.6 mm)
also good to know you get that Problem only by straight or perfecting printing or both !! also the Sheet size
also you tested already only Unit 1-2 so you can check your Problem are not coming from the Infeed ( Swing gripper,Infeed drum or Table )
also you say the doubling you have especially at the right the Corner how much are the other side, and OS and DS both shadow go to OS or both go inside-outside ( sideway ,up-down 35-40' ankle )
so as you describe i think you get Paper transfer Problem ( Gripper, Gripperpad,Gripperpad rail) can but i don't think so is a Thrustbearig or Needle bearing Problem on Impression,plate or Blanket cylinder.

hi everyone, recently the company had a certify Heidelberg tech to do overall service on the press. so far it running OK, only when we run over 10 i see a small move in the tail of the job this was like a month ago. he have change the transfer gripper at the feed table saying it wasn't taking the sheet correctly, and re adjust all of the the grippers. and he all so pointed out that pincher gripper was putting wrong from the previous tech.

 

and it is a 1993 model

 

Hi can I ask the problem only on perfecting or straight printing and you have the problem on all unit !!!

 

in straight printing mode and a small movement at the first printing unit

 

Ok if you have the problem only on straight normally no problem with the perfector.
you can test set the the Inn feed gripperpad high manual 0.3-0.4 more than the presetting.
now one more thing the HDM Engineer change as you say the "Swinggripper"s " he check and set also the Gripperpad !!! one the Swinggripper and Innfeeddrum usal he have to check all the Gripper pad "high"
