In the Current climate with all the Recent Price Hikes in paper im intrested what house stocks most of us are using, i.e. what brand, and if any owners on here wanna say what we paying.

would be intresting to hear from UK printers aswell as Printers from forign Countries.

I'll Start we are using a chinese sheet called colisto from vision. paying now 740 quid a ton before the increases was paying around 630 a ton.
Its a good Bulky sheet but has quite a poor Gloss

My shop runs a lot of Sappi text and cover. Domtar for offset. I personally like running Burgo paper. It always runs great and seems like a high quality stock.

I use a huge variety of papers from Boise x9 20# to sappi coated, I don't use any foreign sheets they run like crap and most look like crap(spots or wrinkled stock thru out the reams) No Textiles here.

95% of our stock is 70# cougar. We use some huskie and vector for cheaper runs. cougar is a little spendy but quality paper and envelopes.

We carry a variety of brands and usually give customers the choice. If they don't care which stock we use, usually we simply go with vector.

Our shop is pretty small so we don't have an overwhelming amount of paper brands, but enough to fit certain customer requirements. In my experience, my favorites are:

    Vector
    Utopia
    Nukusa

310gsm Artboard - For 90% of our business card printing, it seems to be the staple for great price and quality.

Although I guess that's one of the benefits of being an online printer, not having to offer as many different stocks...

Where could I get a quotation for these paper brands? Can you give me contacts for these paper brands?

Im looking for a paper supplier with medium quality levels, to import to my country.

    Thank you!
