hi- I keep getting this fault code. It shuts down everything, the feeders, stackers and a coater that is inline. The PSIP stays active but the air conditioner shuts down as well. Anyone having the same issue?

I don't recognize the code. Are you sure it is not a 10-5009? In the Admin window what is the fault description?

I will have to look at my eDoc later to see what it is.

I have a machine that has done this for the past 18months almost twice a day whilst sitting idle or when a door was shut. We replaced everything in the power and control circuits but still did it (EU shut down etc). It started to shut down whilst printing. The last thing we did was to go through all the wiring checking all connectors etc. This was 2 weeks ago and it hasn't shut down since so I can only assume that a connector was loose and wiggling the looms etc made it good. Which one - I haven't got a clue. I think this could be a long one for you unfortunately

Check all thermistor and power connections in fuser assembly. Do a thorough fuser cleaning. Had this problem at a customer's site and it was due to customer rigging connectors because some had cracked and fallen apart.

Milo - thanks for the heads up, we'll have our service tech check the connections.

    Hi Sickofit,
I've been facing that code xpe -10-5009 once a week.
What I use to do to fix that problem is sign in (psp mode) > go to P1 (PWB-4) > dc0303 component control > 10B Fuser Lamps > click in intrusive check box and click in all fuser check box below till they show a blue box. After that close the windows and go to > exit diagnostic > select call status (complete) and press the buttom close the call, it will pops out a small windows just press "yes". Restart the P1 and sign in back to your user id in my case is custact.
I hope I had helped you in some way.
    Regards,
    Anderson
