Hey team, I have 160,000 duplex impressions to run of a 130gsm gloss stock at 650 x 364mm.

Obviously I'm running this into the stacker but I'm getting some horrible indentations occurring on the lead edge (happens when simplexed too). This dent makes knocking up and trimming almost impossible.

Has anyone had this issue before and found a solution (running to the top tray is out of the question)?

Here's an image of a stack of 5000 printed simplex:

I would check all wheels in the paper path, especially the stacker area. Seems like a wheel has come loose.

Adjust your decurler NVMs. I've had this happen (usually on text weight stocks though) and it's usually because there's a bit too much curl on way or the other and the edge of the sheet is knocking a transport roller just wrong.

You'll have to cheat the doors along the paper path and physically see where the defect is occurring.

If it runs to the top tray without knicking though you'll narrow it down to the stacker turnabout.

Thanks for the replies guys. Yeah into the top tray it's fine so we narrowed it down to a row of feed wheels just before the stacker entrance. The technician wedged a folded up sheet under the plate with the wheels on so the sheet would bypass them all together (sheet is long enough so stacking rego is unaffected). Dents are gone and it's feeding well.
