Hello again everybody. We just upgraded from the 3 to the 150 last week, but all day ive been having this fault pop up. I've changed the dicorotrons, swapped them, put the old ones back in, tried another new set, cleaned everything in the area, and rebooted the PSIP, but just cannot get this fault to clear. Any help you guys could lend me would be greatly appreciated.

One thing to check with shield faults is if the screws that hold your TAB blade in place haven't wiggled loose and are making contact with the shield.

Otherwise, in your stock library -> media settings-> subsystem attributes for the stock you're running, edit the subsystem attributes and start decreasing the transfer voltage settings A and B for Sidse 1 and 2. Sometimes, depending on weathers or just finicky iGens, there's too much voltage for a certain stock. (More common with thick stocks, but not unheard of for text weights.)

Thanks, it decided it wanted to start working on its own again after about 45 minutes of resting. Maybe Genny here was just tired from the abuse she's taken the past week. Free click charges with the new printer! Will keep this in mind for the next time she decides to act up.

The 150 is a rather temperamental girl for the first month or so. My machine took about 6 months before she'd run consistently well with just operator level maintenance. I think we went through two transfer/detack power supplies and three cyan dev housings.

Good luck. The 150 is great... once it's settled in.

I abuse my Igen too. She needs it. LOL

Ive had this problem on my igen4. 3 things fixed it, all mentioned. swap corotrons, double check paper settings, check tab blade.

Mine's done this 3 or 4 times, then a reboot solved it....

also, the paper settings could be gaga due to a sudden climate change. (humid to dry rapidly)

My work aroud for Transfer Detack PS Overtemp / Shield Faults (XPE-09-3061 & 3066)

I have also chased this issue on cold weather when RH is not as recommended. Clean this replace that check PS fans but nothing works. What I do is swing open "Environmental Unit" so as to keep all the Power Supplies nice and KOOOOOOL. .....Angel

Adding to this thread, same exact problem. we looked for arcing....nothing.

Today, Tech just replaced the High voltage power supply to get past this. still happening.

    thoughts? advice?

I'm with CargoPantsMan on this one. I always lower my transfer setting for transfer A & B in the media subsystem attributes for the offending paper. Sometimes I have to crank it down pretty far but it always seems to work.
Angle - Hey man! What's up? Seen any bats lately? lol!

Thank You for the quick fix! XPE-09-3066, XPE-09-3061

:) Thanks CargoPantsMan for the quick fix!

    Re: XPE-09-3066, XPE-09-3061

Replaced the usual suspects: transfer /detack dicorotrons, reboot, & total shutdown etc, w/ no effect.

It was the TAB blade screw all along........

My 150 was running smooth as silk when I started the day but the faults gradually increased to the point it wouldn't run at all! Obviously vibrating out a little further as the day progressed.
