Hey guys, I could not narrow the field any with the advanced search, (probably operator error) so I'm sorry if this is a duplicate post.

I am getting a lot of Toner building up on the pressure roll and the 2 external heat rollers. I'm about to check the contact arc, but is there something else that I can do to fix this problem? any what causes it? My tech was just in here 2 days ago and did fuser maint. I would really appreciate any insight that you could give me.

    Thanks again.

Thom, are you running uncoated stock. Igen 3 and 4 are prone to toner transferring on to the external rolls after maybe 500 or 600 impressions depending on coverage. I use an oven glove and a scotch brite pad to scrub off toner.

Check stock settings that you are running.

The stocl setting all seem to be in order, and we run this stock all the time on this machine, it is either this one or 100# gloss cover. It only happens from time to time. But I could definitely understand if Side one was not fusing and collecting on the pressure roll on the second pass, but this is a one sided piece. There should never be toner contacting with the pressure roll. The only thing that I can think of is that the Fuser web is not cleaning correctly and it is building up from there.

If your print engine software is at version 8.0.57 or upper version you have fuser web speed control adjustment

When I have that, i "fake" a paper setting that's slightly heavier/thicker. Toner not fully fusing to paper, staying on fuser..

Do you find that you have to clean the heat rollers(ceramic ones) and the fuser alot? like it develops chunky lines?

i get it ALOT with low weight gloss.

    replace fuser roll.
все остальные действия не помогают. только замена.
