Came in early this a.m. to start a long run. Fuser code 10-3111 popped up. Tech's are tight lipped about the svc password to diagnostics, so I am stuck until service gets here to re-set a value in their diagnostics. Can technicians access the Press interface remotely to reset certain fault codes? I have asked the tech, (no) and now I need someone to 2nd the motion so I can feel secure with his answer. 4.5 hours of downtime for a simple click of a button...

The PSP doesn't have a connection to the customers network, just to the machine.

Pretty sure we have it connected to a network, it pushes a log every morning to Rochester. Sure would make life easier for little slip ups like the heat roll heat lamp connection slipping apart...

It is connected to the network via the Freeflow/Creo/Fiery Proxy server. It does not have a direct connection to the www. You can remotely connect to the DFE for any printer status (ie not running/job status etc) but there is no live remote to the PSIP - only by looking at the CFA logs which are historical
