Does anyone else have problems running C1S ? , every time i run a job with C1S it jams, I always end up having to run it 1 side at a time.
    thanks

Well for one it looks like it is HP Indigo certified which means it is not compatible with iGen toner/fuser based machines. If the manufacturer comes back an says it is - ask to see the certification because I bet they haven't tested it on an iGen

is it coming out curly? what weight? I usually have NO trouble...even with this 14pt c1s I use-its garbage, been sitting on a skid in a warehouse for over a year....,I just have to bypass stacker...

anything bigger than 10pt C1s, DO NOT try to use the stacker, it cant handle it. But... it will run it to the top tray all day long.

I am running 12pt C1S, it will run the front side, then during duplex it jams before the fuser. I look in area 3 before the fuser and the paper is curled up.

hmm. did you run it with the door (after and before fuser)cheated open?

for ME, my heavy 12.5x19 14pt stock would curl DOWN in the fuser, and the corner would catch in the little ramp after the fuser. you could actually see it "pop" as it hit.

try running it with door open, and see if you see a slip or paper catching somewhere. best way to see what actually causes the jam...

took awhile to find this, not sure it will help in your case, but worth a shot... the "ramp" right after the fusers are too short, and angled too far down....and when I have a thick curled paper, with the right size where a corner hits on of the ramps, it pops that corner up, sometimes folding it over...but ALWAYS twisting the paper sideways. Open door and watch for it coming out of the fuser.

Ive done this 3 or 4 times now. take some card stock, cut it right length width, and tape it on. Not real high tech stuff. but it works. I used to run that sized paper weekly. but it is 11.5 now, and does not hit the ramp at the corner.

big photo....see the tape on that lower (back of machine) fuser exit.
