Please do not publicly display service passwords on the forum. There are some customers that we do not want to have access to our diagnostics - Health and safety for one and irreparable damage to the system from itchy fingers is another

    Thanks

Agreed. Anyone who uses this information should know that playing around in diagnostics without proper training can cause lots of damage to a very expensive piece of equipment. Xerox will not take it lightly, be sure of that.

PSP is good for resetting fuser lamps when you have a time-out error during warmup. Besides that, there isn't really anything you NEED in PSP, even for a more advanced operator.

The very reason why our specialist changed all PSP passwords in our area; big time bummer. Ran into the exact situation with the fuser temp reset and had to wait 4.5 hours for service just to reset the silly fault...

Normally just a restart clears that error?

Yeah, restarting the machine clears Fuser Temp Too Low error.

Lucky for me, I got PSP!

Normally it does, don't remember the fault code, but the inboard heat roll lamp connection loosened up after it was hot and ready to go (see what I get for due diligence in cleaning fuser assy) and it would not reset by doing the restart. Murphy's Law I guess.
