"remove paper from print engine area 2"

getting seriously tired of it....reboot to clear. nothing there....

ring any bells for anyone?

Well we had some probs with it aswell, we blew alot of air from a compresser under the glass plate to clear dust of the sensors, have you tried to rapidly open af close the transport at area 2? Helped me aswell

Gotta be a dirty or faulty sensor. Maybe there's an NVM to bypass it. Not sure.

Remove the glass, clean sensors and glass then test each sensor through diagnostics

Clean all the way up to area 1 because the glass sensor goes all the way into the left door too which is where area 1 is... and also clean up above it too to where the glass screen is.

We had/have a similar issue...turns out that the doors
dont stay closed...either give em a little kick closed everytime
or use velcro

if it is solved after reboot..then there will be communication error
we had also experienced same issue in area 3
passed a paper manually through the this area...its gone

Clean the transport glass and also clean the reflector above the glass as if any of those are dirty it will give a false jam.

Also try checking Area 1, area 4-5-6. Sometimes if there is an issue before/after it will say the area right in the middle.

Also make sure the door sensor is working.
