Any idea the cause? Happens on just about every coated stock. More so on the bigger stocks.

    explain the "streaks"

all the way across the edge, lengthwise or cross? Tab blade?

clean everything in the paper path. sometimes a thicker stock can pick up junk on the way through.

They're length wise, leading edge to trailing edge on the top and bottom of the sheet when printed at maximum size. I have actually found the problem. It was the combination of bad transfer wires combined with xerographic cavity temperature variations caused by cracked fuser exhaust fan. Both problems have been fixed.

Cool. that sounds like a problem I had with a nexpress YEARS ago. start fine, then get hot as you print... drove me nuts for weeks. the exhaust hose was bent too sharply, kinked, and obstructed airflow.

    glad you found it!
