magenta streak

I am getting a crosstrack oriented darkened magenta streak. need some help tracking it down.

I am printing on 17" paper. it repeats EVERY sheet, But moves away from lead edge incrementally .5" on each sheet. not sure where to look for this one

 

Trail edge flip? A piccy would help

having phone connectivity issues...or I would...

it appears Ive lied anyways.

the streak shows up only inside areas with good coverage.

AND more importantly...it repeats within the sheet...right around 6.5"

 

SAME spot is back.

twin IB to OB magenta lines that are about 1.5" apart, and they repeat on the sheet at 6.5" could this be fuser? Oh they only show up where theres coverage.

not sure its related, but this is on 10pt coated 1 side material.

I can not see it with that pic LOL..My guess would be the heat roll
Speaking of magenta...my spitting is back aaagghhhhhhhh .new wires ,grids,cleaned all the sensors, vacuumed everything....still there all,stocks 1 or 2 sided.... guessing the donor roll is on vacation again!!

 

yeah its really faint. i let the job go that had it on there...

last two times for me, cleaned donor roll with lint free cloth, changed purge setting, along with cleaning everything else, it went away...


good luck. it appears this is a "live with it" deal for igen. every machine has one or TEN. lol

 

yup donor roll was all caked up again...Tech came in ands cleaned it..I would do it but every time I touch a xerox Igen machine ,12 more problems pop up LOL

Peels,my Tech also said for you to check the tabs...that white blade with the slots..sometimes they get bent
