light streak

    as title states. have 3/16" wide SEMI- light streak all the way through lengthwise, all 4 colors. printing brown high coverage, my favorite. lol

    iv'e done the obvious just about all I can think of...

    -transfer/detack semi new...
    -preclean NEW
    -wire mods
    -cleaned lenses

    PLUS new fuser, AND new belt. both for other reasons. any quick help Id love to hear it.


    TAB blade maybe? sort of lost.

    Check for debris on your ETAC shield as well. Not sure about iGen3's, but the 150 shield has a foam strip at the bottom that likes to collect fibers or hairs from ... gods know where.

    Check to make sure the screen on the pretransfer wire assy isn't tweaked and lightly rubbing the PR belt.

    I have had white lines appear in fine screen areas after putting on a new pr belt. My solution has been to uncouple the belt, pull it halfway off and reinstall the belt, then recapture the belt. Also look for fine hair like plastic strands from the tab blade. They will also cause lines in your copy.

    ive traced it to the stab... i made the line go away, briefly, but wiggling the fins on the blade. I went to change it, but the screw is stripped so.. im living with it for now lol
