We are running, well attempting to run 24 hour days until Monday and we have printed exactly 0 copies since yesterday with this fault.

I have no technical answer but Ive been through similar. detail clean the sensors in there. reboot. Look for broken wire mod....

make sure the little cover for the etacs (or whatever they are) gets put back on aligned correctly.

any chance you're out of toner or carrier and have an error bypassed?

    straw grasping, sorry.

    found this in a seach....

That fault code is sometimes caused by a scorotron not being seated correctly, or the PR Module not being seated properly, or even sometimes a dirty Transfer or Detack Dicorotron. In some cases for me its been a dirty MOB & ETAC sensor.

    just a thought.

    gotta go for the day.

I found a filthy dicorotron tray and cleaned it and restringed it but no luck. I appreciate your help. We are now a 2nd full day in with no printing and no resolution.

Are there ANY other errors that happen along with it? like 03's or 06's? or any other 09's? Have you checked when you open diagnostics? or is it a lone wolf?? If my aging, fleeting memory serves, I remember that 09-1xxx was a symptom of something else..... Like sensors looking for something that isnt there. Developer lfaillure... OR a sensor that SHOULD be looking for something, isn't. patch density, voltage etc. Im having a flashback to when my magenta station went ga-ga and would go weak. but I very well could be mixing it up with another day....

tech would watch #'s on psip while printer fired up, and spotted a drop. something was clogged? I forget.

no technical info, just shadetree mechanic info, sorry!!

so it wont print either? I was thinking it was just when you tried 951.

will it do any internal checkout prints?

That thread was for 1100 not 1000 but I don't have a spare belt, I can remove and clean rollers if necessary.

i meant for 09-1xxx in general. they are the generic "cant cycle up error" and can be confusing.

    there's sometimes errors accompanying them.

I had one once where I spent all day.... worrying trying things... that turned out o be that I left a charger out lol.

I see you have no service possible? and no belts. Thats living dangerously. Lots of trust to be put in a "X" labeled machine. LOL

A lot of trust put in me lol.

and gotcha about the 1000/1100. I have pulled this machine from the pits of hell with a lot of assistance from Milo but he has been busy I presume today and unable to get back to me after a brief chat this morning,

been there my friend. feel your pain

we had highlight color printers. 6 of them. if you know what they are, you understand.

had 24-7 contract. we ran them around the clock. i mean RAN them (into the ground)

then...inexplicably office decided we didn't need this going into the busy season. I was not notified. it was changed to 8-4.

guess who worked nights? yep.... 90 days in a row. 12+ hrs

hated it. but credit it with the the printer knowledge I have now, and general ease of my day to day.

good luck. could try the cleaning of the PR belt rollers but... be CAREFUL if you dont have a spare. lol (ive also been there)

Last time I had issues with XPE-09-1100 it was due to marginal OB ETAC sensor. It will not even pass DC951.
