    Hi all,

Get alot of stacker problems with the silk of course, Is there a way of making the stacker slow down or speed up on transfer?

Obviously the paper is curly and we have optimised the de-curler as much as we can without it causing continues jams, As well as dropping down the line & turning into a Transfer/De-tack fault where the stopping point is by the de-curler.

Anyone know some other tricks up their sleeve that can maybe change the air going into the stacker, As well as speed's different things like that.

I know to clean the stacker and the anti static bar which help's alot & also know about making sure the de-curler is set right.

Was just wondering if there's any other setting that we have that can help us out with the 90gsm silk A3,SRA3 which actually runs better than A4 & SRA4.

We run this paper a lot and getting very use to the problems we have and fixes we have but just wanted to know if there were any other fixes that we haven't thought about.

    Many Thanks
    Gavywill

I use anti static tinsel in my stacker. I have it hanging down between the vac trans of stacker.

I also have small zip ties hanging down as well. this pushes the paper off the transport a bit faster. Its Adjustable by bending the zip tie. Only have a problem in the dry winter months. And it is on LIGHT and VERY thin and porous paper.

Do you have a photo to show where you put the zip ties?
