    Hi Guys,

emergency situation, stacker isnt working, so i want to enable the stacker bypass (which we dont have). so i know i can just take the end cover off and print to the bypass output tray that we don't have. My question is how do i enable it in PSP diagnostics??

    Thanks,

You need to enable it in XSMU

Is this something i can do? and how? Never used XSMU i dont think,

Does it matter i have Fiery, only ever seen this done with a freeflow rip.

On a side note mark, is your nickname Mr D? and have worked in southwest england as Xerox engineer? specifically went to ADP?

    thanks

If you have never used XSMU before I would recommend not accessing it as you can kill the igen if the wrong buttons are clicked, sometimes forcing a reload. ATM I would suggest waiting for your regular engineer (not sure who that is) and if they are willing, show you how to access and change some settings safely for the future. They may say no as removing the side cover then becomes a H&S issue which is not good

Yes I am known as Mr D by Steve and Woody :)

thought it was a odd coincidence with the username (i'm charlie, if you remember me being at ADP a while ago).

i hear dipshite will got another job somewhere. hows things with you post xerox?

Yeh i'll leave it for the engineer to come in, we had a couple issues with them getting out to us as they had a miss communication from the guy that left yesterday so was trying to fix it myself as i know you did it for us once at ADP.

i had a look at logging in bu i obviously dont have the right password as its not the same as the PSP one.

Yeah I remember you - how could I forget :p. Didn't recognise the username :) How is Annabel? Will moved on to a local envelope manufacturer but is still the fool that we enjoyed taking the mikey out of :)

Post Xerox is good - no more idiots trying to tell me how to do my job :)
