iGen 4 System Check fails

    Anyone have a solution for the system check failing when I start up. I run my calibration, then system check and it fails every day. Tech said not to worry about it, but every time I have it fail for a few days, then the machine won't start and I am back to waiting for service--which takes about 24 hours in my area. Any ideas?

    What does it fail with?

    try running some non-critical jobs first to warm up the machine 100 or so impressions ...I do not run color check everyday.. seems a waste of time and paper if the colors are still correct!!!!!

    Standard fault code. Tech's are saying it could be a sensor or a wire somewhere, and all they can do is keep replacing until it stops. The code is just a general warm up fault code and they say it tells them nothing.

    any chance its my old friend 09-1100? THat one is just a "timeout" you get due to real errors. For fun, you could open diagnostics and see what else you have.

    Code is XPE 03-3401. It says wait for system to cycle down, but it never does. Tech says, just restart once it has cooled down, which is fine, we restart, and it will either try to run about 5 copies, then same error, or won't even start back up.

    03-xxxx thats communication. :( bad contact or board somewhere maybe.
