iGen 4 Lightfast Magenta

Hi there guys, am from the UK and as we have no lightfast magenta toner, but have been told Xerox UK HQ are awaiting part numbers for them, yet we were told this 3 months ago! any ways, onto the question for you american guys as weve heard you have it? could anyone enlighten me on how it works and how much it benifits you?

Welcome! I haven't heard of lightfast yet. Is it exclusive to the iGen4? Tell me more?

i thought it was already out in the states for an add-on for both 3 and 4's or thats the impression i got from the engineers.

we found out that the magenta toner is different on the 4, (obviously doesnt have carrier too) as it has a worse lightfast rating on the 4 as we used to have a 3 and we had both tested to be qualified for a certain lightfastness for fine art reproductions. we gave a rocket up our reps arse because they promised us that it didn't change at all and their answer was a lightfast magenta toner was going to come out, as they had the parts but not the part numbers to ship it. also we found it is as licence add on in the pzip igen4 software that controls the press.

also anyone know anything about the iGen 220 press? im thinking it might be at Ipex 2010 was wondering if it was at any expo's over in the states?
