iGen 3 RDS Motor Slide Fault

Hi all,

Every now and again our RDS motor keep's stopping, this has been an ongoing problem for the last couple of months...

Anyone know anything or a fix?

Sometimes you need to lube the worm gear and make sure it is aligned so it doesn't stall. There is also a note about a redesign for the RDS assy. in the Edoc.

 

Could you take a picture of what that looks like? as there's alot of gears and cogs in there

 

I'm a technician. I don't have one in front of me. Does Xerox maintain the machine or are you self service?

 

Xerox Maintain the machine but it hasn't been done in a while.

 

Place a call and tell RTS to hand the call over to the engineers straight away instead of holding you up. Just say the iGen is dead and you have a deadline job to run. As far as I can remember where you are (Bracknell?), Tony, Raz, or Adrian will be able to sort you out If it been a while I'm sure the fuser and other HFSI's are due anyway
