Xerox cant get my Igen to quit having detack/transfer faults...so theyve left me a kneeling prayer mat to seek immaculate answers.

just one question? which way do I face when praying? east to Rochester? :D

East is also the leading edge of the Earth, so probably a good place to start. Might also be a good idea to draw a holy circle with the toner color of your choice, and offer a ream of virgin paper up as sacrifice.

I think I'll ask my technicians for one of these. They've been trying to get my machine to print 26" card stock without it skewing and returning registration faults for over a month. I clearly haven't been praying hard enough.

Have they done the registration setup for 26"? It is done seperately than 22" and lower.

They've done all manner of things, including most recently changing the entire registration transport. Tech showed me yesterday one of the metal dimples on the upper half had worn down and scuffed. They think the media was catching on that and causing the faults. Haven't been able to test it yet, but here's hoping the process color gods have smiled upon my prayers.

EDIT: And yes, they had one of the prayer mats with them. :)

    LOL holy toner circles!

    I regularly do toner dances.

dance and Bang on the side of a well used dry ink filter like a Native American Chief and his drum, just with an old corotron, the dropping toner wards off evil spirits who would wreak havoc on the igen.

Apparently I did not dance enough to appease the xerox gods this week, I have a light strip in black that I cannot fix LOL
