Does it change any attributes based on substrate changes?

I am frequently having a problem (all drawers) where it will start feeding ok, then...the drawer drops too fast as it senses height. eventually leading to the stack height being too low, and a misfeed. Its too far from the head for suction. I've watched it do it many times. most often with thicker paper.

I change paper so much, I have weird substrate settings all over the place., and I'm curious if that matters at all.

Or....is there a way I can recalibrate them?

    thanks....

The stack height is dumb. It either covers the sensor (stack at feed) or uncovers the sensor (stack not at feed). There is however interaction between the feed head plate and the arm. When the plate moves to the fed position the cam moves the arm up. At the ready to feed position the cam moves the arm down onto the stack, if the sensor is not covered it initiates a tray up signal to raise the stack until the sensor is covered by the arm. If you can see them and reach them give the sensors a clean around each stack height arm (upside down C shape sensors) being careful not to knock the arm out of place which is easy to do. Give the tilt sensor a clean whilst you are there (on the feed plate)
