Help with gilclear stock?

    I'm trying to run 28# gilclear translucent paper on Igen 4 with out success the stock makes it half way out of the feeder and stops feeder tray lowers. I have set the stock to translucent settings and various gsm's with no luck. Any one have any luck running this wonderful stuff?

    I don't know the stock but any clear/translucent stock needs to be paper backed for the sensors to register. If it is similar to the paper used over here in the UK (Semi transparent, onion skin like) only the heavier weight stocks have had success on iGen. The lighter stocks are to translucent and allow light from the sensors to pass through

    thank you for your response that is what i suspected its onion skin like igen4 wants nothing to do with that crap. I passed the job on down the line.will run on the offset press :)
