The book says Black Mag Roll Motor straining to rotate. Not exactly sure what the tech did, but it was fixed and ran several hours and all of a sudden, there it is again. Gotta love these machines......we also have a CP1000 and now it's saying the yellow toner is empty even when a new one is in. It's almost like the iGen and the 1000 are talking....maybe I'll figure out a new fault code that says turn off machine and go home....lol

I feel your pain, nothing is more frustrating then a call back for the same problem...well.... it is more frustrating when xerox tells you there are no techs available today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the CP1000 you are able to get new toner motors, we changed a lot of the old until they made new ones, ask your tech.

schweem. printers do that. I GUARANTEE it. I operate 3 of them. never fails I get the 3rd one going, the first two die. 3rd one dies when fixing the first. Its vicious cycle. BUt Ive developed a fantastic vocabulary of profanity to cope.

    cheers.

    NICE!

yes, it is warming up. Suns out, and sneaking up on 40! Printers run so much better when the humidity isn't that of Death Valley. :)

Plus, even better, Im taking family on a Caribbean cruise Starting end of next week.
