    Hello forum,

Has anyone had specific issues when having a sheet off the iGen3 die-cut?

I recently had a 5-bank tab job returned because of chipping edges. The tabs were non-typical semi-circles, with full bleeds.

We reran the job on a different stock with the same results. Coated & uncoated.

Thanks for your thoughts & experiences....

What gsm are you printing on using? There must be a lot of coverage too. I only notice chipping with heavier stocks with full coverage.

I don't have chipping issues often though. We very often die-cut 14pt and 15pt pieces repeatedly, without issue.

The GSM range is from 290-350, coated and uncoated stocks. The chipping is occurring on rounded edges, and yes, full-coverage and bleed.

...,what fuser oil are you using?? you should be using #1 . ,guess #2 the media settings for the stock are incorrect, #3 fuser roll psi needs adjusting( not the one the operator can adjust) and lastly the die cutter blades are dull,we run full color die cut jobs all the time with no issues!!....hope I did not just jinx myself LOL

We are using fuser oil 1 have checked and rechecked paper settings. we are running carolina 10pt C1S and Carolina 14pt C2S. If you have some working settings I would love to hear them. again the tools for the die cutters have been checked and recheck even happens with brand new tools.

I will try that. also I am going to try and bring The Weight from 270 to 350. LAB values I have are 96, -0.9, 3 is this close to what you have on your stock? Also what stock are you running? May make the switch to solve this
