We can really use suggestions, we have been down for 2 days with the same fault. Have taken the unit apart and cleaned and replaced everything we can think of but still can't get any sheets through. We even replace the main detack circuit board from our parts machine.

Can't find any reason for the shorting. THOUGHTS?

Being based in Las Vegas we don't have any close alternatives for service so it is just my senior operator and myself and we are very frustrated at this time.

Machine powers up but immediately faults when the first sheet come into play.

first check those two wires are fully seated.

try other papers, then check that your paper setting is correct.

after that.. its dark territory, but you've already tried the board.

some of the theories when we struggled with it.... something touching the wire. COnnector shorting. tab screws loose shorting out...

When all said and done, I think it was the power supply back there....

strike that... they replaced the boards, and THEN the whole transfer deck.

But looking back, I had an error when a label was stuck to the Tab blade.....

Is the blade height correct and set? It is adjustable by moving the sensor next to the actuator flag. You will need the procedure and PSP diagnostics to set it as a hairs breadth makes a difference.

On the other hand these decks do fail - I have even had a few new ones fail on first install

    Hey Mark,

Thank you we think it is ok, crazy as it seems we now have solved that problem and Preclean is giving us the fault. Any thoughts about the ribbon adjustments?
