    oh what fun today:mad:
fuser contact is set at 14.5 , PR belt is ok as deletions are random. fuser roll Looks fine, pressure roll is only a couple weeks old. All sensors and paper paths cleaned. The stock is fresh out of the case, have tried two brands that have run good in the past ,heaters in feeder trays are off.......... service call placed

If it is a long, semi thin crooked deletion(kinda looks like its supposed to be there)....

I bet you find the paper "wrinkling" as it hits the PR belt, leaving a valley that doesnt transfer. bypass the front lower door, and watch it run, you'll see it happen.

just went through this. completely random, blamed on paper getting too hot and too much moisture.

phone base support ...blames the heaters in tray...even when I tell them that they are off LOL. Tech blames the stock.
Yes Peels, the deletions are similar(ours are smaller,on the lead edge ,and it is consistently in the same area of the sheet ..We have ordered another brand of stock as a smaller size is not an option

    xerox stock ran perfect
I am able to get the futura to run using enhanced image but the copy quality sux.......that tells us that the speed/timeing/buckle needs to be adjusted for that particular stock... it can be done by the operator

You can go into the stock and adjust the transfer properties as well. I suggest building a separate stock in your library and playing with the transfer settings there that particular stock so you dont hose up your library setting on the stock that does run good. I have resolved a few "Snow" artifacts this way.
