Hi, I am new to the forum. I picked up an iGen 4 at an auction last week only to find out I have to pay a lot more money toward OSS licensing fee for the controller and freeflow server. I asked why the license that is existing running on the machine not come with the machine, and I was told that the licenses are none transferable.

Which means anyone that has an iGen and decide to sell it, you can sell the hardware but the new buyer has to pay for the licenses all over again. Anyone has any experience on this or have any suggestions for me? I am pretty stuck right now and very confused. Thanks.

Normal practice. Also beware that if you have to change the motherboard in the Freeflow or replace the PSIP for any reason you will have to get new licenses generated. If paid for it is no problem. The Licenses are tied to the Host ID
