So it has been a while since my 5 second training that I got on the Fiery.

I can adjust spot colors just fine. My problem is when I adjust the color in image viewer and then save it. The color adjustment does not show up in the print.

I rarely have to do this so I cant remember if I am doing this wrong or if it never worked int he first place.

Can anybody explain how they just make a general color adjustment on a file on the Fiery?

    Thank you!

I think you have to save it to an output profile then apply that profile to the job. I can't remember fully as I have no iGens with Fiery's so only going from what I can recall

I have trouble with that too. I process and hold the file edit the curves in image viewer save then submit from the ripped file. I find it to be hit and miss sometimes it works sometimes not. Its really frustrating when you proof a job with the colour just how you want it then submit the job and it loses the curve. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

Ok, I had my analyst come in and show me how to do it again. it is really kind of a pain in the ***.

    1. Go to Device Center.
    2. Go to OUTPUT PROFILES select the 175 Screen and edit whatever color you need on the Curves Scale.
    3. Save that under whatever name you want for that profile.
    4. Go to Color Set up. Under Output Profile Select that Profile that you just created.
    5. Pull your hair out because you will need to make 50000 more color adjustments to make your picky customer happy.

Make sure to change that back to the Default 175 profile before you run any other jobs or everything else that you run will have that same color adjustment in that profile. Hope this helps.
