I am running an iGen 4 with a Fiery rip.
I run numbered jobs using the XMPie plugin in InDesign.
I send them set up to cut and stack, two A4s to view on an SRA3 sheet.
I can collate 2 parts no problem, using the New Insert command in Media in Properties.
I cannot get a 3 part set to collate the same way.
Does anyone out there know if this can be done at all or am i wasting my time trying?

Are you just trying to get it to have the same number 3 times in a row?

If that is the case, you could do it by creating 3 identical pages in InDesign (XMPie or Data Merge for numbering) and then when you export, the page order should be

    1,1,1,2,2,2,...

If that is not exactly what you are looking to do I apologize for the confusion.

I use FreeFlow, haven't dealt with Fiery in a long time, so not exactly sure on the Media Insert command.

    All sorted.
Jobs are sent from InDesign - using XMPie.
Step & repeat all done in dynamic print dialogue box.
    3 copies of each entry.
In job properties on the Fiery rip, the mixed media section of the media tab becomes active.
Add a page range for each part of the NCR set, then turn collation on and Bob's your uncle!
3 part (or more or less) NCR printed and collated into sets in the stacker.
    :)
