Is the seal around the lid still present. It only knows it's closed if pressure is allowed to build up in the chamber. If you are not getting any 09-3751, 2, 3 or 4 faults you can assume that the pump is running and there is pressure in the hopper which could lead to a faulty pressure sensor or DRC#3 PWB

The lining of the carrier cover lid wasn't engineered very well and after a certain amount of usage it wears down and allows pressure to escape. I'm not sure if Xerox has a permanent fix to this problem or not. What we do is keep a sheet of plastic wrap in between the carrier cover and the hopper. This will prevent air from escaping.

bigaland, may be a little late on the response here...holidays, and been crazy busy. :/

I THINK... don't quote me, on IGEN4 you can go into PSP as service and tell it to ignore that error...but its a risk that you're running with no safety net. good for only VERY Brief emergencies.

Hi Peels, a tech (engineer) was in yesterday and fixed the fault, one of the four magnets had fallen off hence the print fault. All sweet today...long may it last! Thanks

I have heard of some operators fixing this by taping a plastic bag tightly around the closed carrier cover. Apparently this can help normalize the pressure and remove the error code.
