Anybody knows the difference: TOC of iGen3 vs TOC of iGen4? What are average click charges? Can iGen print on offset PVC adhesive foil, or exclusively on PVC for digital printing? We are trying to establish in house label printing but the labels has to be slightly chemical resistant, so we are considering iGen. Any help appreciated.

    Hello Vladimir-

I'm working with an iGen3 so I'll approach your questions from a reflective angle.

Average click charges are based on your contract. We have a maintenance agreement which includes parts and consumable supplies at no additional charge. Its also based on our monthly impressions. Contact me directly for costs, as privacy is a concern.

Regarding printing on foil, I've had poor luck. And the reason is that the toner is charged and attracted to the sheet by means of electricity. The foil tends to void or alter that charge. I've attached the recommended media list (which includes non-xerox tested stocks). This should be a huge help for understanding capabilities.
