Can't close/open Prnt engine Help!

I am working OT right now and we do not have after hours service. To cut down on OT, they hired a couple of temps to feed paper etc at a lower cost than my time and a half.

So anyway, he tried to open the print engine (not sure why) and now it is stuck where I can't lock it or open it.

Not sure what to do now as we have a job that has to print over the weekend for 3 shifts and we can't get service until Monday at 8:00AM. I, and the temp are the only ones here.

It is stuck, can't completely lock it to close it and can't unlock it. Let me know what may help! pics? etc

I got it. The shaft/piston came past the bearing it seemed so it impeded movement a bit. I gave it a good and put it back

which area are we talking about, out of curiosity?

 

The steel levers you open to slide the 3 sections of the print engine open.
